Aerodium Sigulda is basically a vertical wind tunnel which produces enough wind for man to feel like skydiving in the air. What an adventure! I wanted to book a “flight” for my family and changed the site to English. To my big surprise the most important information of what is included in each package was not translated to English but still in Latvian language.
So I asked a Latvian native from my hotel’s customer service to translate it for me and she read out it is real skydiving from 4 km height. I asked 3 times if she was sure and she was. So, a bit confused, I decided to skip the change of jumping out of the airplane with my family. Next day I drove past the facility.

Now the website has been translated and I see what the lady who translated it to me missed. She just saw and translated part of the sentence: “2 lēcieniem ar izpletni no 4 km augstuma” which in English means: “2 skydives from 4km”. She did not notice the whole sentence: “līdzvērtīgs 2 lēcieniem ar izpletni no 4 km augstuma” which is in English means: “equal to 2 skydives from 4km”.
Unfortunately the company lost a client only due to unfinished translations on their website.
