In designing e-commerce sites there are some well-established conventions about which kind of meaning which icons convey. Nordelectronics uses a “lock” icon to display the shopping cart link. But it has a different meaning than being a “shopping cart”. The “lock” icon means security – account/log in and is not well associated with shopping carts.
Just check Ebay or Walmart to know the difference.
