An interesting idea of functional design I found on my trip to Latvia when eating lunch in a budget restaurant located in the town of Ruijena known by the name of Trīs draugi.
🙂 This post probably isn’t the best place to praise the place but still a few words on that part. The food is basic but has been tasty for the last 10 years I’ve visited the restaurant with good price and quality balance. I truly love their fried cheese and salads.
So far so good. Until you visit their men’s room.
A joyful discovery happens when you sit down there to solve the problem number two – it’s your mouth, nose and eyes which are just about a few inches from the urinal.
Their train of thought might have been to have a friend with you in the booth to kill two flies at once and keep the queue alive. Or maybe its just for people who have taken in too much liquid and have the other problem too – both problems solved at once and no questions asked.
